Ask
Ask about your business in plain words.
Ask reads your question, runs the Kelwick report that answers it, and shows how it read it. Every plan includes 25 questions a month; add Kelwick Agent when the company asks more.
Stock, orders, customers, open bids. A question in plain words, the table back, and how it was read.
- Shared across the company
- More questions at $1.50 each, if an Admin turns it on
- No separate subscription
For companies that ask more than 25 questions a month.
- 500 questions a month, shared across the company
- In place of the plan's 25
- An Admin adds or removes it in Settings
Ask questions are their own allowance, not credits. Running a suggested follow-up or a saved report doesn't use a question.
Credits
Pay for work done. Not for work watched.
Credits pay for AI actions: work Kelwick finishes for you, whether a person started it or a workflow did. Some is written by AI; all of it is work Kelwick did. Human actions are free: reviewing, editing and ticking things off never use credits. When an approval starts work, such as applying a Mass Update or approving a workflow's change, that work is the AI action. Looking is free too: checking orders, the nightly reads, drafts nobody sent, and anything that didn't work.
AI actions and their credits
| AI action | Credits |
|---|---|
| An email sent: an order update, a follow-up, a request to fix a record | 0.25 |
| A to-do a workflow puts on someone's Today | 0.25 |
| A product changed in Eclipse by a workflow | 0.25 |
| A scheduled report sent, however many people it goes to | 1 |
| A bid created in Eclipse | 1 |
| Up to 100 records changed in Eclipse by Mass Update | 1 |
| An invoice read and matched to its PO | 2 |
| A bid read from a PDF or photos, its lines matched | 4 |
Ask questions have their own allowance (above). Putting a change back is free.
Workflows
Set it up once. Let Kelwick handle it.
Your plan sets how many of your own workflows can be on at once, not how often they run. The ones Kelwick starts you with, like Inventory's nightly checks, don't take a slot.
Questions
Clear from day one.
No seat counting, no surprise invoices, no new module to buy every time Kelwick gets more useful.
Do you charge per user or branch?
No. Each plan covers the whole company, with unlimited users and branches. You pick a plan by how much work Kelwick does each month and how many of your own workflows you keep running.
What's the difference between a workflow and a credit?
A workflow is something you set up to run on its own: watch for this, then do that. Your plan limits how many are active at once. A credit is used for each AI action: each time Kelwick finishes a piece of work, whether a workflow produced it or a person clicked for it. Reviewing, editing and ticking things off (human actions) never use credits.
Can we use more credits than our plan includes?
Yes. Work never stops at the allowance. Each credit past it goes on the next invoice at your plan's rate: $1.00 on Starter, $0.80 on Growth, $0.62 on Scale. If that happens most months, a bigger plan usually costs less.
What happens if we run out?
At 80 percent, your Admins see it on their Today page. Past the allowance nothing stops: a customer's order email still goes out. Your Admins get an email, and the extra credits go on the next invoice at your plan's rate.
How do Ask questions work?
Every plan includes 25 a month, shared across the company. After that you're never charged automatically: an Admin can turn on more questions at $1.50 each, with a monthly cap, or add Kelwick Agent for 500 a month. Scheduled reports don't use questions: each run is a credit.
Can we see Kelwick before subscribing?
Yes. A walkthrough shows Kelwick at work on a demo company with sample data, every module, before you connect your own Eclipse.
